Job summary

Enable Ireland in Co Roscommon is seeking a Family Support Worker to help children participate in the community and achieve person-centred goals. The role supports practical, personal and social needs and is offered on a Return of Hours contract (20+ hours per week negotiable).

Candidates should have a QQI Level 5 major award in childcare, be flexible about working arrangements and location, and be able to maintain required documentation. A full, clean driving licence may be required.

Qualifications

• Be flexible in relation to working arrangements, duties and location.
• Record workload and maintain required documentation on activities and tasks completed during work session.
• Some positions may require transport provision. In these cases, the applicant must hold a full clean driving license.

Responsibilities

• To provide support to children to enable them to participate in the community, achieve person centred goals and facilitate inclusion.
• The Family Support Worker will provide practical, personal and social support to the individual they work with.
