Job summary

Vertiv Ireland Limited is seeking an experienced Manufacturing/Industrial Engineer to lead digital transformation and Lean initiatives on a scale across the EMEA manufacturing network. You will work closely with operators, supervisors, engineers and plant leadership on the shop floor to unlock capacity and reduce waste.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a manufacturing/engineering field is required.
• 5+ years hands-on experience in manufacturing/industrial engineering or related Lean/Operational Excellence.
• Proven delivery of improvements in capacity, productivity, cost, lead time, quality or ramp-up.
• Strong Lean foundation: 5S, standard work, visual management, Kaizen, problem solving at Gemba.
• Experience with MES/digital work instructions, dashboards, automation/robotics, data acquisition or related tools.
• Fluent English and willingness to travel across EMEA.

Responsibilities

• Digitization & data-driven operations: assess maturity and support site roadmaps; enable IoT, data ownership and real-time dashboards.
• Automation & CapEx delivery: identify ROI-based opportunities; support concepts, commissioning and handover for robotics and automation.
• Industrial Engineering, Lean & Operational Excellence: lead time studies, line balancing, takt/capacity calculations and Kaizen events; deploy Lean systems.
• Ramp-up, stabilization & production readiness: support new and existing lines; create standard work and training material; ensure smooth handover to plant teams.
• Benefits realization, coaching & change management: quantify gains; coach teams; secure finance sign-off for savings and productivity.
