Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a capable maintenance operative to deliver planned and reactive maintenance, repairs and fabric works across nationwide contracts. You will review maintenance routines, troubleshoot faults and assist in small project works.

Responsibilities include liaising with Helpdesk, carrying out general fabric maintenance, identifying issues, and ensuring safe work practices. You will support other departments and contribute to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

• General maintenance and repair skills with basic facilities experience.
• Ability to fault finding and problem-solve.

• Deal with colleagues, suppliers and contractors in a timely and courteous manner.
• Ensure correct and safe use of hand and power tools on sites and ensure that all equipment used is calibrated and certified/tested as required.
• Assist other departments if/when required.
• Provide support in the implementation of short- and long-term projects as required.
• Pursue continuous improvement, customer satisfaction and collaborate in a team environment.

About The Role:

Carry out trouble shooting and repairs when failures occur. Assist in the completion of small project works.
