Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Facility Manager to lead data center operations in Ireland. You will oversee shift technicians, contractors, and vendors, ensuring high-quality operational standards across multiple availability zones.

You’ll develop and execute project plans to boost facility efficiency, manage critical systems including power, cooling, and monitoring, and support expansion initiatives.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in people management and team development
• Experience in engineering work, managing large-scale services
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Data Center Engineering Experience
• Experience in mission-critical operations environment (e.g. power facility, high technology manufacturing, healthcare, aviation maintenance, oil and gas) preferably linked to a 24/7 uninterrupted operations.
• Fundamental knowledge of network design and layout as well as low voltage (copper/ fiber) cabling
