Job summary

Sensori is hiring a Caretaker in Carlow for a full-time, permanent position on a PPP CNU contract. The role requires Garda Vetting and flexibility to cover shifts from 8am to 8pm, Monday to Sunday, including weekends.

You will support the Facilities Site Lead, manage subcontractors, and uphold health and safety standards while delivering strong customer service and maintaining quality across the site.

Qualifications

• Experience as caretaker in multiple workstreams.
• Safe Pass and Manual Handling.
• Must adhere to Garda Vetting process.
• Proficient with IT software and basic digital tools.
• Strong health and safety awareness with focus on quality systems.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage several duties simultaneously.
• Highly organised with attention to detail.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Experience in facilities management, engineering or construction is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support the Facilities Site Lead to promote excellent customer service and client relations.
• Review services, specifications, processes and quality to optimise resource use.
• Respond to client requests promptly with a customer focus via the maintenance system.
• Manage subcontractors on site adhering to contractor management guidelines.
• Proactively identify faults and arrange safe fixes or contractor contact.
• Work flexible shifts including weekends per client requirements.
• Comply with health & safety legislation and company policy; act as Fire Warden/First Aider as required.
• Conduct regular site and service inspections and address non-adherence to quality standards.
• Contribute to business performance and strengthen relationships with client and internal teams.
