Qualifications

• Possess a full QQI level 5 major award in Health/Care.
• Understand Key Worker/Support Worker philosophy for complex needs.
• Demonstrate skills in Programme Planning and Person Centred Plans.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in their daily living activities and personal care.
• Assist individuals in engaging with the community.
• Help individuals learn new skills and make their own decisions.

Since first opening our doors in 2007, Autism Initiatives Ireland has provided specialist autism services for adults across our Residential, Respite, Day, and Community Support Services. • A full QQI level 5 major award in Health/Care is essential
• Awareness of Key Worker/ Support Worker Role and philosophy surrounding support to people with complex needs
• Programme Planning Person Centred Plans
• Availability to work shifts on a rota basis
• Permission to work in Ireland essential

Qualifications required for a Facilitator:

A full QQI level 5 Health Care Qualification is essential, (e.g. health, community, care sector) but a genuine passion for providing person centred support is key to being successful in the role of a Facilitator. This is a truly rewarding role, with the opportunity to develop your skills, knowledge and your career.
