Job summary

Pudaxa Limited, based in Donabate, Co. Dublin, is currently seeking HGV Mechanics to join our team. The role involves fitting, installing, maintaining, servicing and repairing engines and the mechanical equipment of heavy goods vehicles.

Candidates should have 2–3 years’ HGV mechanic experience; a mechanic certificate is a bonus but not essential. On-the-job training will be provided. Work location is on site at the Shannon Valley Centre, Turvey Lane, Donabate, Co. Dublin.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years' HGV mechanic experience required.
• Mechanic Certification preferred but not essential.
• On-the-job training available as required.
• Experience with ABS/EBS brake systems and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Fit, install, maintain, service and repair engines and the mechanical equipment of heavy goods vehicles.
• Detect and diagnose faults in engines and parts.
• Service, test and replace engine components; reassemble after repairs.
• Perform scheduled maintenance to ensure performance and compliance.
