Gannons City Recovery & Recycling Services Limited in Donabate, Co. Dublin, seeks an experienced Heavy Goods Vehicle driver for two sites in Donabate and Bluebell. This full-time role involves operating HGVs, loading and unloading cargo, and delivering goods to designated locations.

The job requires 1–3 years of HGV experience, and a CE or C1E licence under mutual recognition. On‑the‑job training will be provided; candidates must meet permit requirements to work in Ireland.

Qualificações

• 1–3 years’ HGV driving experience.
• CE or C1E licence recognised via mutual recognition agreement.
• No minimum academic requirements.
• Further on‑the‑job training provided.

Responsabilidades

• Safely operate HGVs and load/unload cargo.
• Deliver goods to designated locations on time.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report maintenance.
• Comply with EU and Irish transport regulations (tachograph and hours).
• Maintain delivery records and logbooks.
• Communicate professionally with customers and dispatch.
• Follow safety protocols for hazardous materials (if applicable).
• Ensure cargo security during transit.
• Understand transport environment and vehicle mechanics.
• Read maps and use GPS for efficient routing.
