Job summary

Petmania Grooming Studios in Waterford is recruiting full- or part-time Groomers to join our busy studio. You will groom canine clients to high standards while delivering excellent customer service in a thriving retail pet store environment.

Join a team that emphasises skilled grooming, appointment scheduling, and up-selling packages with ongoing training and access to our grooming academy for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• QQI level 5, iPET Network Level 3 Diploma or City and Guilds in Grooming required.
• Minimum 1 year of practical grooming experience in a busy studio.
• Excellent customer service and grooming skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out a range of grooming treatments including standard and specialist grooms and mobility care.
• Maintaining the calendar of appointments and studio bookings.
• Upselling grooming packages and add-ons to clients.
• Advising clients on pet health and appropriate dog food options.
• Guiding owners on coat care between grooms.

Petmania Grooming Studios is currently the largest and most successful grooming business in the country and boasts some of the most talented and committed Groomers available. We run busy energetic grooming studios where you will be expected to not only groom our canine customers to a very high standard, but treat our human customers with the same level of customer service you would like to receive yourself.

We are currently recruiting for full or part time Groomers for our Waterford Store!

The successful candidates will join the experienced grooming team in their local store, and take part in all grooming activities include;

• Carrying out a range of grooming treatments to include standard and specialist grooms, mobility treatments, aromatherapy treatments, Emmipet Dental treatments and many more!
• Maintaining the calendar of appointments
• Up selling packages
• Advising clients on the health of their dogs and appropriate food choices
• Advising clients on how to maintain their pets coat between grooms
