Job summary

Sherlock Recruitment Limited is seeking 2 experienced Block Layers for a Caherdavin, Limerick project. The roles start ASAP and run 8:00am to 6:00pm, with on-site parking and induction provided.

The ideal candidates will have solid experience laying 6-inch concrete blocks, building walls, pillars and piers, and fitting pillar caps and coping stones, with Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates.

Qualifications

• Previous block-laying experience.
• Experience laying 6-inch concrete blocks.
• Experience building walls, pillars and piers.
• Experience fitting pillar caps and coping stones.
• Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates.

Responsibilities

• Laying 6-inch blocks for boundary and garden walls.
• Building blockwork pillars and piers.
• Installing pillar caps and coping stones.
• Setting out and checking levels, alignment and measurements.
• Mixing mortar, cutting blocks and finishing joints.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working area.
