Dublin City Council is seeking an experienced Executive Planner to join the Planning, Property & Economic Development Department. The role involves delivering planning programmes and a range of services across city projects and priorities.

You will contribute to forward planning, development management, transport planning, conservation planning and housing delivery as part of a collaborative team, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.

The City Council is seeking enthusiastic, experienced Planners to work in these areas, and contribute to achieving its vision for the City.

The Executive Planner will work as part of a team within the Planning, Property & Economic Development Department, or may be assigned to another City Council Department to undertake relevant work.

The Executive Planner will be responsible for implementing programmes of work and for providing a multiplicity of planning and related services across a range of City Council projects and priorities. Executive Planner positions are multi-faceted and may include some or all of the following key service areas:

• Forward Planning and Strategic Projects


• Development Management


• Transport Planning


• Conservation Planning


• Housing Delivery

Salary: €60,858 - €84,596
