Job summary

Version 1 is seeking an Applied AI Consultant to lead enterprise AI transformation for our largest customers. You will move organisations toward AI-native operation, partnering with CEOs and CTOs to shape strategy and secure sponsorship.

You will own engagements end-to-end, mentor senior hires, and help build playbooks and IP while representing Version 1 as a trusted thought leader in AI adoption.

Qualifications

• Led AI transformation at organisation scale (CTO, founder or equivalent).
• Genuine AI vision and a clear point of view on the future of AI in business.
• Fluent at C-suite level, comfortable setting strategy with top executives.
• Deep, current AI engineering credibility trusted by engineers and architects.
• A track record customers can verify with tangible outcomes.
• Able to own ambiguous, high-stakes engagements and drive decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own our most strategic engagements and lead full-scale AI transformation programmes.
• Set direction with CEOs, CTOs, CIOs and other executives; secure sponsorship.
• Transform organisations through AI-native change across functions and levels.
• Bring a credible AI vision to clients and align adoption with business outcomes.
• Shape how we sell and deliver transformation; define value measurement.
• Lead and mentor, building playbooks and IP for the broader team.
• Represent Version 1 externally as a credible thought leader in AI adoption.
