Dawn Meats in Ballyhaunis is seeking an evening Hygiene Operative to join the hygiene team. You will carry out washing duties in the meat processing areas at the end of production, using power hoses and manual cleaning tasks. This full-time role requires reliability and hard work and offers a stable evening shift.

Key duties include safe operation of cleaning equipment, logging daily logs, checking chemical stocks, and completing the day’s schedule with PPE and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to meet deadlines.

• English not required.
• Available to work evening shifts from Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning of the production hall area.
• Operation of cleaning equipment in a safe manner at all times.
• Work in a safe and efficient manner using required personal protection equipment.
• Adhere to safety data sheets for chemicals and standard operating procedures.
• Update all Logbooks at end of each shift as required.
• Check stock level of chemicals regularly.
• Ensure schedule for the day is completed.
