JASON COLLINS PLANT HIRE LIMITED is seeking 3 full-time shuttering carpenters at entry level to join its construction team in Co. Cork. Location: Liscahane, Millstreet, with work across regional sites. 39 hours per week, 24-month contract. Salary: €36,605 per annum, approx. €18.05/hour.

Successful candidates will perform shuttering and formwork duties on commercial and civil projects, under supervision, following drawings and health and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Entry-level shuttering carpenter position; supervision provided.
• Prior basic exposure to shuttering/formwork/concrete is advantageous but not required.
• Willingness to learn shuttering and formwork techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and installation of shuttering and formwork for concrete structures.
• Construct formwork for walls, columns, beams, foundations and slabs.
• Measure, cut and prepare timber and formwork materials as instructed.
• Assemble and position shuttering systems under site supervision.
• Assist with alignment and securing of formwork prior to concrete placement.
• Support concrete and steel‑fixing teams during structural works.
• Follow drawings and site instructions from supervisors.
• Safely use hand and power tools relevant to the role.
• Dismantle, clean and prepare formwork systems for reuse.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area.
• Comply with site health and safety procedures.
• Work effectively as part of the construction team.
