Carne Group in Dublin is seeking an Entry Level professional for its Fund Platforms team. The role focuses on managing a portfolio of funds, handling day-to-day updates and changes in line with regulatory and fiduciary requirements as the product owner for platform responsibilities.

The position is based at our Dublin offices and offers exposure to a broad learning environment within asset management in Ireland.

Qualifications

  • Experience working in the funds industry (UCITS and AIFs) advantageous.
  • Fluency in English is essential; other languages advantageous (French and German).
  • Proven project management skills are advantageous.
  • Strong experience interacting and coordinating with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to procedures for timely, risk-controlled platform projects.
  • Follow project checklists and track progress.
  • Communicate with Legal, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Oversight, and Financial Reporting.
  • Perform initial due diligence on delegates and liaise with teams.
  • Present structure changes to boards for approval and resolve queries.
  • Coordinate calls, manage deliverables, and close action points.

Amazing opportunity for experienced fund professionals to apply to our Fund Platforms team based in Ireland in Carne Group. The primary role of the Platform Projects Associate is to manage a portfolio of funds addressing any day to day updates/changes to the funds the client may request. The individual will ensure that these updates/changes are managed in line with legal, regulatory and fiduciary requirements as management company, but they will also need to ensure they are also completed in line with Platform responsibilities within Carne as the overall product owner, exposing the candidate to world of learning beyond the role of the management company operations.

This position is based out of our Dublin offices.

  • Strong experience interacting and coordinating with various stakeholders.
What is your role and your responsibilities?
  • Adhering to procedures are in place to ensure platform projects are taken on in a timely and risk-controlled manner;
  • Adhering to project checklists to the relevant projects, maintain and tracking progress through the project;
  • Ensure effective communication with all relevant internal functions in relation to the project, e.g., Legal, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Oversight, Financial Reporting etc.;
  • Ensure initial due diligence on delegates where required is performed and liaise with the appropriate teams to complete in a timely manner;
  • Where required present any structure changes to the relevant boards for approval, ensuring any queries are resolved in a timely manner to support final sign off from the committee/board.
  • Coordinate calls with all parties, manage deliverables and ensure closure of action points;
