Job summary

Glanbia in Dublin is recruiting a Security Architect to shape and deliver IT security services, embedding security principles and frameworks across environments. You will work with IT teams and business stakeholders to align security with the organisation's roadmap.

Hybrid work from our Dublin office is available. You will lead risk assessments, govern IAM/PAM and encryption, and drive MXDR integration with partner teams while advising on security vendors and new technology solutions.

Qualifications

• Designs and maintains enterprise security architectures aligned to business goals.
• Implements and governs security controls and frameworks across IT environments.
• Leads structured IT risk assessments for vendor engagements and projects.
• Strong knowledge of encryption, data protection, and PKI standards.
• Experience with security incident response, SOC coordination, and vulnerability management.
• Ability to translate security concepts into business language for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Defines and maintains the enterprise security architecture and frameworks.
• Maintains ISMS and security policies aligned to ISO 27001, NIST and PCI DSS.
• Assesses security risks across enterprise systems and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Drives data source integration with MXDR partner teams and supports SOC operations.
• Monitors and guides implementation of security controls (IAM, PAM, MFA, PAM, ID management).
• Advises on vendor security selections and security architecture for new solutions.
• Provides security oversight for major IT changes and risk assessments.
