Job summary

ILSC Education Group in Dublin, Ireland, is seeking an English Teacher to deliver CEFR-aligned classes to international students. You will plan lessons, provide feedback, and support progression, while promoting an inclusive learning environment.

The role requires a primary degree and an ELT qualification (CELTA/CertTESOL/ACELS). Prior ESL teaching experience and familiarity with digital tools are desirable; candidates must be legally entitled to work in Ireland.

Qualifications

• A primary degree (NFQ Level 7 or higher) in any discipline.
• ELT qualification such as CELTA/CertTESOL/ACELS or equivalent.
• Previous ESL teaching experience, in Ireland or abroad.
• Desirable higher-level TESOL qualification (DELTA/TDipsol or similar).
• Desirable experience with IELTS/TOEFL or other exams.
• Desirable experience with digital learning tools and blended/online teaching.
• Desirable experience in multicultural classrooms.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver CEFR-aligned English lessons; prepare materials at least one day in advance.
• Provide timely feedback and support student progression.
• Maintain attendance and complete assessments in a timely manner.
• Participate in teacher development and programme development activities.
• Represent ILSC Dublin professionally and uphold policies and procedures.
• Be flexible with technology use and blended learning as required.
