Job summary

ASL Aviation Holdings DAC in Ireland is seeking a Safety Investigator to focus on engineering-related safety occurrences within the ASLI Safety Management System and to deputise Safety Manager Airworthiness during periods of leave.

You will conduct formal engineering investigations, interview personnel, prepare investigation reports and safety recommendations, and identify safety trends from reported occurrences.

Responsibilities

• Conducting formal Engineering Investigations, including interviews with engineering personnel
• Preparing Investigation Reports and Safety Recommendations
• Assisting and overseeing Engineering Investigations conducted by trained investigators
• Identifying and analysing safety trends arising from reported safety occurrences
• Preparing periodic engineering safety reports and supporting the Safety Manager Airworthiness in hazard identification and risk assessments
• Participating in Safety Promotion, utilising lessons learnt from internal and industry investigations
• Assisting in administration of SafetyManager365 occurrence reporting and risk management modules
• Dep*utise Safety Manager Airworthiness during periods of absence
• Maintaining competence through continuous education and training in the area of responsibility. The company will facilitate this process.

Reporting directly to the Safety Manager Airworthiness, this role focuses on investigating engineering-related safety occurrences and supporting continuous improvement within the ASLI Safety Management System. This role will deputise Safety Manager Airworthiness during periods of leave / absence.
