Job summary

You will drive asset care programs, lead RCA, manage CapEx, and ensure adherence to ISO, GMP, HACCP, and related standards while developing engineers and technicians.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent in mechanical, electrical, automation, manufacturing or related field.
• Significant senior engineering leadership experience in manufacturing or food processing.
• Experience managing maintenance, preventive and predictive maintenance programmes in highly automated environments.
• Experience delivering capital projects safely, on time and within budget.
• Experience using CMMS to manage assets and maintenance plans (Avantis/Ultimo desirable).
• Strong budget ownership for CapEx planning and cost reduction initiatives.
• Proven RCA leadership and problem-solving across plant performance issues.
• Proven people leadership, mentoring engineers/technicians, and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Lead asset care, preventive and predictive maintenance programs site-wide.
• Ensure equipment reliability and compliance with standards; reduce downtime.
• Oversee utilities (steam, air, refrigeration, HVAC, water) and drive energy/water reduction.
• Own engineering budget, CapEx planning, KPIs and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Drive safety, quality, ISO/GMP/HACCP/FSSC compliance and risk assessments.
• Lead stores coordination and critical spares strategy; manage engineers/technicians.
• Drive Operational Excellence, OEE improvements and standardized practices.
