We are hiring!

Circet Ireland's Power Division are looking for an experienced Design Engineer/ Engineering Officer with knowledge of overhead lines, civils, and cabling activities on power infrastructure new build and maintenance contracts.

This job covers work across Ireland nationwide.

The Design Engineer will be responsible for the QA on all completed design documents and may be required to complete a bill of materials.

The Design Engineer will be required to liaise with client technical resources to solve any design issues.

Key Responsibilities;

* Assisting Design Manager to create and execute current work plans.
* Liaising with survey and build teams to ensure quality site design.
* Experience with structures, general civils etc. associated with the Power Industry.
* Ensuring design documents are completed to the required quality, in a timely fashion to ensure delivery targets are met.
* Identify design issues and propose solutions to resolve and progress sites to build.
* Ownership of site designs to ensure they are delivered as planned.
* Manage and assist drafting resources to deliver completed designs.
* Preparing design calculations, reports, and detailed drawings

Knowledge; Experience and Skills:

* Previous experience working on ESB / Power Networks
* Degree qualified in Engineering (Electrical, Building Services etc.) or the equivalent.
* AutoCAD
* Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines.
* Time management abilities to meet targets.
