Job summary

A life sciences company in Castlebar is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a team in project delivery and drive process improvements. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in regulated manufacturing, possess a relevant engineering degree, and demonstrate strong leadership and project management skills. Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years’ experience in a highly automated and regulated manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing/supervising technical engineering staff.

Responsibilities

• Utilise project management principles from project inception through to delivery.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources.
• Mentor and develop a team of engineers within a regulated environment.

Skills

Extensive knowledge of automated manufacturing processes

Project management leadership skills

Problem-solving skills

Strong IT skills including MS Project and AutoCad

Excellent interpersonal skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical)
