This role is pivotal in leading a new team focused on building and maintaining MongoDB Atlas, our leading database-as-a-service product. You will lead motivated engineers, contribute to system designs, and collaborate with stakeholders. The ideal candidate has extensive software development and people management experience, with a strong foundation in large-scale systems and cloud technologies. Qualifications

• At least 8 years of professional software development experience.
• At least 3 years of people management experience.
• Experience leading engineering teams building and maintaining large scale systems.
• Skilled in writing large-scale, distributed backend systems in a compiled language.
• Experience with streaming architectures.
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider technology.
• Experience deploying software to a fleet of VMs.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Curious, collaborative, and motivated.
