Job summary

Viatris is seeking a Director of Engineering to oversee day-to-day pharmaceutical manufacturing at Inverin and Casla in Ireland. You will join the senior leadership team driving culture, strategy, and long-term site viability while ensuring product quality, inventory targets and budget adherence.

You will lead cross-functional teams, drive process development and sanitation programs, and advance maintenance and reliability efforts across multiple facilities to support continuous operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Biomedical, Industrial, or related).
• PMP, Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean Manufacturing certified preferred.
• 15+ years in sterile manufacturing in senior leadership roles.
• Regulatory knowledge: strong understanding of Annex I, US, and EMA GMP regulations.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement engineering strategies aligned with business goals.
• Lead large-scale capital projects including new facility construction and upgrades; manage CapEx budget.
