Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Quality Engineer to provide robust QA support at our NV site on an 18 month contract. You will drive continuous improvement, own CAPAs and NCs, and coordinate with suppliers to uphold quality performance across manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide quality engineering support across QA and manufacturing processes.
• Lead internal and supplier quality issues and drive root cause investigations.
• Own non-conformances and ensure timely closure of NCs and CAPAs.
• Dispostion of non-conforming product and escalation of supplier actions.
• Maintain KPIs and analyze trends to drive corrective actions.
• Support manufacturing complaints and product field actions.

Job description

This is an 18 month contract role in our NV site with full Stryker benefits.

What you will do:

Provide quality engineering support in quality assurance, control, and preventative activities with a focus on continuous improvement of internal products and processes. Support supplier quality issuesimpactingdaily operations.Advocate and lead the execution of initiatives and projects to enhance quality performance within the business and for our customers. Ensure compliance to regulation and standards.

• Work closely with operations and the business functions to ensure quality performance of product and processes.
• Collaborates with Divisional QA, cross-functional andsuppliersteams to address top quality issues.
• Own identified internal and supplier driven non-conformances and manage thetimelyclosure ofNC'swithin.
• Own or supportidentifiedinternal CAPAsandmanage totimelyroot cause investigation,implementationand closure.
• Disposition non-conforming product within MRB, issuingNC'sasappropriate.
• Communicate with suppliersregardingnon-conformances, escalating supplier corrective action requests asrequired.
• Engage in the development and improvement of the internal manufacturing processes for existing products.
• Performs critical assessment of internal and supplier proposed change management activities.
• Participates in the creation and/or review of new or modified procedures.
• Maintain KPIs for monitoring of process and/or product quality, perform analysis, and interpret trends,identifyingand activating onappropriateactionsas necessary.
• Support execution and analysis of manufacturing related complaints and product field actions.
• Advocate of Human Factor practices, familiarity in the science of Human Factor identification, reduction, and mitigation.
• Collaborate withappropriatestakeholderstoidentifyand execute opportunities for supplier part certification.

What you will need:

• BSc / B. Eng. in a science, engineering or related discipline preferred, or equivalent years of experience.
• 0+years experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent.

Ireland Pay Ranges:

• Ireland: €40,000 - €67,000 EUR Annual
