Job summary

Mercy University Hospital in Cork is seeking a Staff Nurse to join the Endoscopy Unit on a permanent, full-time basis. Registered nurses will develop skills through structured education and clinical facilitation within a supportive team.

Qualifications

Be registered, or be eligible for registration, in the general nurse division of the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
Experience in the acute hospital environment within last three years is essential.
Endoscopy Specialist area - Recent relevant experience and education.

Responsibilities

Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of assigned patients.
Practicing nursing according to the Code of Professional Conduct as laid down by the Nursing Board and Professional Guidelines.
Ensuring patients are cared for in the optimum clinical environment, adhering to all nursing and hospital wide policies and guidelines.
Sharing professional knowledge and skills with colleagues.
