Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in North Cork is inviting applications for a part-time Healthcare Assistant position. This role focuses on enabling members to achieve independence by providing personal care and support. The successful candidate will hold a QQI Level 5 qualification and possess a full driving license. The compensation ranges from €16.21 to €18.03 per hour, with additional benefits including sick pay and a pension scheme.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 in Health Care discipline to include Intellectual Disability module or equivalent.
• Full Driving License and access to vehicle - essential.
• Previous experience working with intellectual disabilities and epileptic seizures - desired.

Responsibilities

• Enable members to achieve maximum independence in daily living.
• Provide assistance in personal care, domestic assistance, and companionship.
• Liaise with Home carers and maintain communication with scheduling staff.
