Job summary

Cohesity is seeking an experienced EMEA Tax Director to lead regional tax compliance, planning, and controversy management across EMEA, with emphasis on Ireland. You will partner with Finance, Legal, and the Global Tax team to drive tax efficiency for a fast-growing SaaS business.

The role requires 10+ years in tax, deep Irish corporate tax knowledge, and strong leadership to build a regional tax function and manage external advisors across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or related field; CTA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification required.
• 10+ years of progressive tax experience in Big 4 or large advisory/in-house multinational tax function.
• Deep Irish corporate tax knowledge and broad EU/EMEA indirect tax familiarity (VAT/GST, withholding tax).
• Experience with cross-border structuring, transfer pricing, and intercompany transactions.
• Strong track record managing tax authority audits and controversy matters.
• Experience with US GAAP tax reporting concepts (ASC 740) a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional tax compliance and reporting across EMEA, coordinating with external advisors and local teams.
• Oversee VAT/GST, withholding tax, and other indirect taxes across EMEA; advise on tax impact for the business.
• Support ASC 740 tax provision processes with US-based team.
• Advise on cross-border structuring and intercompany transactions.
• Manage tax authority audits and controversy matters.
• Partner with Legal and Corporate Development on entity structuring and IP/licensing.
