Job summary

WEX is seeking a Head of Regulated Entities, EMEA to oversee regulated EMI operations across OFEL in Dublin and OFL in London. You will align with regulators (CBI, FCA), drive governance, risk management, and strategic initiatives in a matrixed, multi-jurisdictional setting.

You will lead outsourcing oversight, IT governance, and the adoption of AI-enabled analytics to enhance oversight and resilience, reporting to the ELT and Boards.

Qualifications

• Irish resident eligible to work in Ireland for CBI regulatory expectations.
• Pre-Approved Control Function (PCF) role subject to CBI approval.
• Compliance with Fitness & Probity standards (CBI, OFEL IAF) and WEX policy.
• Experience leading regulatory governance in multi-jurisdictional EMI/payments environments.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent senior professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory liaison with CBI and FCA to ensure compliance.
• Oversee operational governance and resilience for OFEL and OFL.
• Lead outsourcing oversight of OSPs and vendors.
• Direct IT and data security oversight for stable service delivery.
• Report to ELT and Boards on performance, risks, and regulatory changes.
