Job summary

Amazon AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking an accomplished Manager, Infrastructure Energy for EMEA North to lead power infrastructure strategy across northern and central Europe. You will oversee grid interconnections, secure capacity with utilities, and drive policy advocacy while managing a 6–8 person team to accelerate capacity and reliability.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of energy sector experience with progression into management or regional leadership
• Experience in utility engagement, power origination, and securing grid interconnections across multiple jurisdictions
• Technical knowledge in grids and HV/MV power infrastructure
• Fluent in English; German and/or French desirable

Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight for energy infrastructure planning, design, and delivery across multiple grid interconnection projects
• Lead senior-level utility engagement to secure power capacity and manage interconnections
• Own regional budgets, schedules, and KPIs, and mitigate risks with data-driven decisions
• Lead and develop a team of 6–8 professionals and build regional energy capability
