Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Construction Safety Manager – New Sites & Regions (EMEA) to establish and scale the Health and Safety function for new data center sites across EMEA. You will architect the safety framework from scratch, bridging Pre-Construction and Construction teams while onboarding new GCs.

You will collaborate with leaders in operations, legal and HR to deliver robust programs, incident management, RCA processes, and consistent reporting.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in compliance, audits or risk management.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the EMEA Construction Safety Framework for new sites and regions.
• Deploy a GC Safety Onboarding Pipeline for AWS sites across EMEA.
• Create site-specific safety plans, programs and resources for new GCs.
• Bridge Pre-Construction and Construction teams with safety processes.
• Conduct CRA inspections and H&S audits across DCPD projects.
• Own incident management and RCA quality for new EMEA sites.
• Deliver WBR/MBR reporting with safety trend analysis.
• Develop SOPs and playbooks for new safety programs.
• Consult with AWS H&S Program Team and legal for regulatory alignment.
• Drive H&S culture with field presence and data-led initiatives.
