Job summary

Keen Print Ltd in Roscommon is seeking an Embroidery Machine Operative for an on‑site role. The position can be part‑time or full‑time and is based in Roscommon.

Qualifications

  • Experience operating embroidery or similar textile machinery and understanding of basic machine maintenance.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control skills, including the ability to spot defects and ensure accurate design placement.
  • Good manual dexterity and ability to handle fabrics, threads, and small components safely and efficiently.
  • Organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple jobs, follow work orders, and meet production deadlines.
  • Ability to read and follow design specifications, production instructions, and safety guidelines.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work cooperatively within a small production team.
  • Willingness to learn company processes and adapt to different products, fabrics, and designs.
  • Previous experience in print, embroidery, or garment customization is an advantage but not essential; training can be provided.

Role Description

The Embroidery Machine Operative role is a Part time role/full timw roll, on-site position based in Roscommon. The operative will set up and operate embroidery machines, load garments or materials, and ensure designs are correctly aligned and stitched to company quality standards. Daily tasks include monitoring machine performance, adjusting settings as needed, performing basic maintenance, and identifying any faults or defects in finished items. The role also involves handling job orders, organizing materials, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, and collaborating with the production team to meet deadlines and customer specifications. Having embroidey or sewing machine expeeience would be a distinct advantage but full training will be provided.
