Job summary

MBRYONICS in Galway, Ireland, is seeking an Embedded Software Test Engineer to join our expanding Software Test Team. You will plan and execute tests for embedded flight software across prototype, protoflight, and production stages, combining manual and automated approaches.

You will collaborate with R&D to design test strategies, develop data and environments, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines while reporting findings and driving quality across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Experience applying V-Model for verification & validation and Agile methodologies.
• Experience validating embedded software systems and identifying tests to qualify performance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements to create robust test plans and cases.
• Develop and maintain test data and environments.
• Execute manual and automated tests; report results clearly.
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools.
• Perform embedded functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Design and maintain automated test scripts; enhance CI/CD integration.
• Collaborate with R&D, product owners and stakeholders across the lifecycle.
• Communicate test progress, results, and blockers to the team.
