Job summary

QT Technologies Ireland Limited in Cork invites a Software Engineer to design and validate embedded and cloud edge software and utilities. You will work with cross-functional teams to define requirements, implement modular software, and ensure quality through reviews and tests.

The role emphasizes collaboration, documentation and meeting project schedules, with a view toward scalable, reliable software for next‑gen products.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field preferred.
4+ years software engineering or related experience.
2+ years with Database Management Software.
2+ years with API; 1+ year with Git or Perforce.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, create, modify and validate embedded and cloud edge software and utilities.
Analyze user needs and software requirements to optimize performance.
Design and implement modules for products and systems.
Participate in coding large features, unit tests, debugging and integration.
Perform code reviews and regression tests; triage and fix issues.
Collaborate with project team and write technical documentation.
