Job summary

HireHive in Ireland’s Galway area seeks a skilled Electronics Test Technician to support renewable energy sector services. You’ll fault-find, repair and test power units and control systems, while coordinating with other teams to ensure timely repairs and safety compliance.

The role emphasizes developing basic test methods, collaborating across departments, and delivering high-quality outputs in a manufacturing/service environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform test operations in an effective manner.
• Ability to work with cross functional teams and self-motivated.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Attention to detail with a focus on high quality output.
• Knowledge of analogue and digital electronics.
• Knowledge of microprocessors and memory devices is advantageous.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing/service is advantageous.
• Experience developing basic product test methods and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and repair faulty power units and control systems.
• Ensure customer product is repaired/upgraded in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with team members to repair and test units.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure availability of components or services.
• Maintain safety of personnel during all activities and testing.
• Perform and report testing, with preparation and presentation of reports.
