Job summary

H&F Electrical Contractors Ltd in Limerick is seeking a motivated First Year Electrical Apprentice to join the team with an immediate start. You will learn on site alongside experienced electricians, assisting with installations and gaining hands-on exposure to containment, cabling, and equipment.

You will attend SOLAS training phases and develop drawing-reading and safety skills while starting your career in the electrical trade.

Qualifications

• Meet the SOLAS entry requirements for the Electrical apprenticeship.
• Full driving licence & own transport.
• Available for an immediate start.
• Right to work in the Republic of Ireland.
• Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification, or willingness to obtain them.
• Strong interest in the electrical trade.

Responsibilities

• Assist electricians with electrical installations on site.
• Help install containment, cabling and electrical equipment under supervision.
• Learn to read drawings and specifications.
• Keep work areas clean, safe and organised.
• Follow site health and safety requirements.
• Attend SOLAS off-the-job training phases as required.
