Job summary

Kilsaran International in Piercetown, Dunboyne, Meath hires experienced Electricians for paving and walling production facilities. Full time on-site role with responsibility for maintenance, servicing and fault-finding on production plant equipment.

You will work with fitters, liaise with contractors and suppliers, undertake electrical installations and breakdown repairs, and lead preventative maintenance to support demanding production schedules.

Qualifications

Kilsaran Paving and Walling requires multiple Electrician roles for their premises at Piercetown, Dunboyne, Meath, A86W820.

The salary range starts from €36,605 (18.05/hr) to €54,000 (26.63/hr) based on a 39-hour week. Salary will increase proportionately if additional hours are required. Salary offered shall be based on relevant experience and qualifications.

Job Description - Experienced, fully qualified Electrician required for the Paving & Walling production facilities in Dunboyne, Co. Meath. The role has full responsibility for routine maintenance, servicing and fault-finding on production plant equipment and machinery, ensuring efficient operation and adherence to health and safety standards. The successful candidate will work closely with fitters, liaise with contractors and suppliers, carry out electrical installations and breakdown repairs, and prioritise preventative maintenance to support a demanding production schedule. The role forms part of a high-performance manufacturing business supplying Irish and UK customers and includes expectations for compliance with company health and safety policies and reporting of hazards and incidents. Maintain all production machinery and electrical equipment in conjunction with on-site fitters; diagnose and repair electrical breakdowns promptly to minimise production downtime; assist with electrical installations and upgrades; liaise with external contractors and suppliers for specialised work or parts; implement and prioritise preventative maintenance programs to support production targets; lead by example on all health and safety matters, ensure compliance with company H&S policies and procedures, report hazards and incidents, and promote safe working practices across the site.

KEY REQUIREMENTSRequired Qualifications - Fully qualified Electrician (QQI Level 6) with a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience. Proven experience in industrial and domestic electrical installation techniques and maintenance of production machinery. Strong fault-finding and breakdown repair skills, experience working in a manufacturing/production environment preferred. Good communication skills to liaise with fitters, contractors and suppliers. Strong commitment to health and safety, ability to follow preventative maintenance schedules and to work with production teams to minimise downtime. Willingness to undertake further training and development as required.
