Job summary

Aureol Global Connections is seeking a skilled Electrician to install, maintain, inspect, test and repair electrical systems across residential, commercial and industrial environments.

The successful candidate will read schematics, use testing equipment, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and local codes. Recognised qualifications and licences are required, with experience in fault finding and preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Recognized qualification in Electrical Installation, Electrical Engineering, or a related trade.
• Valid electrician licence or certification, where required by local regulations.
• Proven experience as an Electrician in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and fault-finding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Experience using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.
• Good understanding of electrical safety regulations and industry standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults using appropriate testing equipment.
• Install and connect lighting, power outlets, distribution boards, switches, and control systems.
• Carry out routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance of electrical installations.
• Replace or repair faulty wiring, circuit breakers, transformers, motors, and other electrical components.
• Test electrical systems to ensure safe operation and compliance with regulations.
• Respond to electrical breakdowns and emergency call-outs as required.
• Ensure all installations comply with relevant electrical codes and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, repairs, and testing.
• Liaise with supervisors, contractors, and clients to coordinate work activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Follow all company policies and health, safety, and environmental procedures
