Job description

An established and growing utilities contractor is seeking a Site Manager (Stations PIW) to support the delivery of large-scale, multi-disciplinary substation and ESBN framework projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified individual to contribute to high profile works and progress within a fast growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as PIW, assigning work on ESBN systems to Approved Persons
  • Prepare and issue work packs; oversee pre-mobilisation
  • Plan and coordinate works, sequencing, and outage requirements
  • Liaise with Stations PICWs for efficient telemessing operations
  • Ensure compliance with all SHEQ procedures and policies
  • Manage multiple civil and electrical crews across sites
  • Oversee quality, environmental, and safety performance on-site
  • Maintain project documentation, safety files, and variation records (CVIs)
  • Handle additional works such as faults or scope changes
  • Conduct regular quality and health & safety audits

Requirements:

  • Qualified electrician
  • Supervisory experience on 33kV+ live substations
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written English (TOEFL, IELTS, CAE, CPE, or equivalent)
