Job summary

BMC Manufacturing Ltd. in Damastown, County Dublin, invites applications for Electrical Quality Control Inspectors to reinforce the Quality Team.

You will inspect LV switchgear, verify conformance to IEC/UL standards and customer specs, and document results on the production floor. Based on the production floor with occasional office duties, the role supports non-conformance handling, corrective actions, and continuous quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with 1–3 years’ experience.
• Relevant QC/QA qualifications or similar.
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of QC/QA processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of in-process assemblies and finished LV Switchgear products.
• Verify components meet specifications and customer requirements (IEC/UL).
• Perform electrical, mechanical, and visual inspections with testing tools.
• Maintain records of inspections and NCRs/CARs.
• Identify deviations and work with production to implement corrective actions.
• Support continuous improvement of quality procedures and safety compliance.
