Due to continuous expansion, Tritech Group are seeking a permanent Electrical Project Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the site from initiation to completion. This candidate will report directly to the Group Electrical Director.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinating with clients, contractors, estimators, quantity surveyors, sub-contractors, engineers, and all relevant stakeholders to ensure that all tasks are completed according to plans and scheduling criteria.
• Communicating with clients to keep them informed of project status and potential issues.
• Planning and management of personnel on site and tracking and reporting on progress and production/output levels.
• Carry out the necessary design reviews to ensure that installations are fit for purpose. Complete VE process in conjunction with Engineering team.
• Oversee the contracting process with chosen sub-contractors and ensure all works are carried out correctly and as per contract and specification.
• Manage and report all project financial elements in conjunction with the commercial department. Close out project successfully and to budgeted profit levels.
• Managing the bidding process for projects to ensure that they adhere to company standards.
• Ensuring that all work complies with relevant codes and practices.
• Attend all projects related and management meetings. Host and record internal project team reviews/meetings and review with Ops Director.
• Carry out surveys of installations and report accordingly.
• Ensure that inspection, testing, commissioning and witnessing plans are designed and implemented in line with project specific requirements.
• Preparing detailed project plans and schedules for follow-up.
• Evaluate overall project performance on a regular basis to provide confidence that the project will satisfy the relevant quality standards.
• Procurement of subcontract, plant and materials in conjunction with the procurement department. Take full responsibility for achieving commercial buying targets.
• Ensure subcontract/plant scopes are prepared to ensure that there are no grey areas in the package and to ensure that risks are offset.
• Liaise with client & management team on an ongoing basis to ensure scope of works is delivered & shareholder requirements are met.
• Issue management and reports to clients with project progress and attend management project review meetings.
• Be responsible for implementing Tritech Group Health and Safety Procedures, and reporting to the Company's Head of Health and Safety as required.
• Familiar with Modern Methods of Construction, Lean construction and sustainable/ environmentally friendly installation solutions.

Background, experience & skills

• Relevant third level qualification in Building Services Engineering or similar qualification.
• Minimum 5+ years' experience in a contracting environment essential.
• Proven ability of managing and delivering large projects.
• Good Leadership Skills to motivate and direct a team.
• Excellent IT and Technical Skills.
• Excellent communication and organisation skills.
