Job summary

Sensori is seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead electrical delivery on construction and fit-out projects in Ireland, combining site supervision, design input, BIM coordination and team leadership for safe, on-time, high-quality installations. You will manage submittals, technical queries and QA, supporting commissioning and handover across European projects.

Qualifications

Trade qualification or degree in Electrical Engineering.
At least five years with recognised MEP or electrical contractors on construction or installation projects.
Strong knowledge of electrical distribution, power systems, control panels and installation best practice.
Proficient with CAD and BIM tools and comfortable with planning software (Primavera or MS Project) and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Supervise and motivate site teams, subcontractors and apprentices, providing on-the-job coaching and performance feedback.
Oversee installation of electrical equipment, power distribution, lighting and control systems and ensure correct handling of materials and equipment.
Enforce site QA/QC requirements, electrical codes and permit-to-work rules; elevate significant issues to senior management.
Coordinate electrical works with civil, mechanical and controls teams to avoid clashes and maintain workflow; lead BIM coordination for the electrical scope.
Contribute to electrical design, producing drawings and specifications for power, lighting and control systems; prepare, track and manage technical submittals and approval packages.
Control scope changes, engineering revisions, non-conformities and technical queries throughout the project.
Prepare and review method statements, work procedures and technical documentation.
Maintain and update schedules, track milestones and report progress against programme; produce material take-offs, manage lead times and track deliveries.
Ensure works comply with specifications and QA plans; support validation, snagging, punch lists and final handover.
Support close-out, including final accounts, QA and safety files and complete O&M and as-built documentation.
Mentor junior engineers and support skills development within the project team.
