Electrical Project Engineer – water industry

Salary DOE (Junior to Senior Levels)

A leading engineering company in Ireland is expanding and hiring Electrical Project Engineers to join their team.

Open to both junior and senior engineers, this is a great opportunity to work on meaningful water and wastewater projects across Ireland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Project Managers in project delivery
  • Liaise with suppliers and contractors
  • Prepare technical submissions and reports
  • Create and manage project schedules and programmes
  • Site supervision and coordination with crews
  • Monitor project progress, budget, and documentation
  • Ensure site health & safety compliance
  • Prepare O&M manuals and update safety files
  • Work between the office and various project sites
What You’ll Need
  • Electrical engineering experience
  • Electrical trade background welcomed (not required)
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD (ability to update construction drawings)
  • Experience managing contractors and multiple deadlines
  • Familiarity with plant installation, commissioning, or water/wastewater projects is a plus
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Comfortable working independently and on-site
