Job summary

Fingleton White seeks an Electrical Power Systems Engineer to join our Energy & Utilities team. The role offers exposure to a broad range of projects and senior guidance while developing technical and project delivery skills.

Based in Ireland with hybrid working options, the position involves power system studies, design of electrical services, and collaboration with clients and sub-contractors to deliver quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of postgraduate experience.
• Experience with DigSilent and ETAP software.
• Strong written and spoken English communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct power system studies including load flow and short-circuit analysis.
• Update single line diagrams, panel schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Generate specifications for switchgear, transformers, and protection systems.
• Prepare technical reports and participate in all project phases from engineering to construction.
• Liaise with stakeholders to achieve project and company goals.
