NHS Highland is advertising a full-time Multi Skilled Trades Technician within our Estates Department to cover Inverness, Ross and Skye communities. The role involves mechanical, plumbing and electrical maintenance of building services.

An electrical background is essential, a current UK driving license is required, and a recognised electrical qualification is detailed in the job description. A team-focused, adaptable candidate who can handle on-call duties is sought.

Qualifications

• An electrical background is essential, but training will be provided.
• A current UK driving licence is essential.

• Experience in heating, boiler plant, pumps or ventilation in healthcare is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical, plumbing and electrical maintenance and repair of building services, plant and equipment.
• Contribute to the provision of excellent patient care through reliable systems.
• Be a great team player, self-motivated and comfortable with remote working.
• Be flexible to cover shifts and participate in the on-call rota.
