Job summary

Elite Talent Hub are recruiting an Electrical Instrumentation & Controls Technician for a major energy organisation based in Dublin. This permanent, hands-on role supports critical power generation assets by maintaining electrical, instrumentation and control systems.

You will carry out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance, fault-find and repair, and work with maintenance and operations teams to sustain safety, reliability and performance in a heavy industrial environment.

Qualifications

  • FAS/SOLAS craft qualification in Electrical or Electrical Control & Instrumentation.
  • Minimum 2 years' heavy industrial plant experience.
  • Full Category B Irish driving licence is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned, preventative and reactive E&I/C maintenance
  • Fault-find, diagnose and repair electrical, instrumentation and control systems
  • Respond to plant breakdowns and operational issues
  • Maintain a wide range of electrical and control equipment
  • Support the reliability and performance of critical generation assets
  • Work autonomously while collaborating closely with maintenance and operations teams
  • Support station requirements through flexible working and call-outs when required
  • Ensure maintenance activities meet required safety, environmental and performance standards

Job description

Elite Talent Hub are currently recruiting an Electrical Instrumentation & Controls Technician on behalf of one of Ireland's largest and most established energy organisations.

This is a permanent, hands-on maintenance position supporting critical power generation assets across Dublin, with responsibility for maintaining electrical, instrumentation and control systems within a demanding operational environment.

The Role:

As part of the on-site maintenance team, you will:

  • Carry out planned, preventative and reactive E&I/C maintenance
  • Fault-find, diagnose and repair electrical, instrumentation and control systems

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving capability
  • Comfortable working within a heavy industrial operational environment
  • Proactive, adaptable and capable of working independently
  • Full Category B Irish driving licence is desirable
