Electrical Installer
Location: For Monaghan Meath, Cavan Westmeath, and Longford
The Role:
In this role you will be responsible for the installation of electricity meters and completion of required remedial works identified on-site. You will be provided with handheld mobile field technology which you will use to update all job details. As an Approved Installer, you will be required to maintain first-class customer service and provide advice to the customer, whilst ensuring compliance with all MDE. Installations Health and Safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance with Health & Safety rules and regulations.
- Full responsibility of Installations into domestic and commercial properties in line with industry/company rules and regulations.
- Installers shall ensure that all interactions with customers, MDE Contact Centre Staff, the client and internal stakeholders are managed within agreed time scales and in a professional manner.
- Installers will be the face of MDE Installations and shall provide a quality service.
- Ensure all equipment meets industry standards by completing testing once installs are completed.
- Make sure customers supply is in safe working order upon completion of installations.
- Identify and elevate issues to your Line Manager / Supervisors.
- Build excellent working relationships with our Contact Centre Agents, Auditors and Supervisors.
- Maintain the integrity of the clients customer data, adhering to companys GDPR compliance.
- Working flexibly when scope or prioritisation changes are made or required.
Skills & Experience:
Essential Requirements:
- National Craft Certificate (Level 6) or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 years experience within the commercial and/or industrial electrical sector.
- Strong knowledge of electrical installation practices and health & safety requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
- Full authorisation to work in Ireland.
- Full clean driving licence.
Desirable:
- Previous experience in metering, utilities, or field-based electrical work.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
