Job summary

Mastertech Group in Ireland is seeking an Electrical Estimator to join our team. This role involves tendering on medium to large projects across commercial, pharmaceutical, data centres and healthcare sectors, with exposure to diverse pharmaceutical and life sciences projects.

The successful candidate will manage the full tender lifecycle, liaise with stakeholders, assemble subcontract quotes and perform take-offs from drawings, contributing to meetings as required.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent qualification required.
• 4+ years of experience in electrical estimation or a related field.
• Experience with pharmaceutical, data centres or healthcare projects is advantageous.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite; strong organisational skills.
• Experience with Trimble and Countfire is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Tendering on a variety of medium to large-scale projects including commercial, pharmaceutical, data centres, healthcare, etc.
• Involved in full tender process from beginning to completion.
• Liaising with relevant parties on an on-going basis.
• Informing managers of bid prospects.
• Attending pre and post tender interviews.
• Assemble sub-contract quotes while ensuring they comply with the spec.
• Attend meetings both internal and client based where required.
• Completing take-offs from tender drawings.

Electrical Estimator

This role will provide exposure to a wide range of expertise relating to pharmaceutical, life sciences, construction and other sectors. The successful candidate will be supported in developing their knowledge and skills as their responsibilities grow and evolve.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Tendering on a variety of medium to large - scale projects including commercial, pharmaceutical, data centres, healthcare etc.
• Involved in full tender process from beginning to completion.
• Liaising with relevant parties on an on-going basis.

Skills and Requirements

• Degree Qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline.
• Experience using Trimble would be advantageous
• Experience using Countfire would be advantageous
• Trade background would be advantageous.
• Experience in pharmaceutical projects is advantageous, demonstrating your understanding of industry best practices and technologies.
• Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and external partners.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office systems required.
• Demonstrated appetite for continuous learning and personal development.
• 4+ years of experience in a relevant field.
