Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is seeking an Electrical Bias Estates Manager to join Stobhill Hospital Estates Department. The role provides technical expertise and supports the operational and strategic objectives across hospital sites and health centres.

You will ensure safe, compliant estates services, manage maintenance activities and contribute to a safe environment for patients and staff. The post is permanent, full-time, with an on-call component and 24/7 maintenance

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship in an engineering or building-related core trade.
• Degree-level qualification in an Engineering or Building discipline.
• Electrical bias and relevant technical knowledge within an estates environment.
• Willingness to undertake further training across service requirements.

Responsibilities

• Implement Estates Maintenance in line with NHS GG&C policies and SHTM standards.
• Provide technical expertise for electrical, mechanical and building fabric services.
• Support day-to-day workloads and on-call maintenance across sites.
