Job summary

Jones Engineering in Cork Metropolitan Area is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our project development and implementation teams. You will work with a multidisciplinary group to deliver complete projects, conducting technical assessments, preparing reports, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring milestones are met.

We offer exposure to a wide range of electrical engineering and construction activities, with opportunities to progress toward Chartered Engineer status as knowledge grows.

Qualifications

• 3rd level electrical qualification required.
• Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar role.
• Pharma/Industrial sector experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
• Experience in Revit and Trimble would be advantageous.
• Strong organisational and planning abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Project Manager on progress, risks, and issues.
• Analyse supplier information for design alignment.
• Review schematics, GA plans and project specs.
• Design reviews and validate equipment and systems.
• Prepare technical submittals, RFIs, equipment registers and trackers.
• Analyze design documents and identify scope gaps.
• Review on-site quality to ensure compliance with the project team.
