Job summary

AllSite Staffing is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a well-established Bray-based engineering consultancy in Co. Wicklow. You will design and deliver electrical building services across commercial, residential and healthcare projects, with a collaborative engineering team and increasing project responsibility.

The role offers valuable technical experience, exposure to multiple sectors, and a unique perk of Half-Day Fridays to start the weekend early.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 2-6 years' experience in electrical building services.
• Experience in electrical building services design within an engineering consultancy.
• Experience working in Irish/UK market is essential.
• Strong knowledge of electrical building services systems and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical building services designs, drawings and technical specifications.
• Assist planning, coordination and delivery of engineering projects.
• Support the design of lighting, power distribution and other electrical building systems.
• Work closely with senior engineers and multidisciplinary design teams.
• Prepare technical reports, design calculations and project documentation.
• Ensure designs comply with Irish and UK standards and regulations.

The Role

As Electrical Engineer, you will be involved in the design, coordination and delivery of electrical building services projects from concept through to completion.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing electrical building services designs, drawings and technical specifications.
• Assisting with the planning, coordination and delivery of engineering projects.
• Supporting the design of lighting, power distribution and other electrical building systems.
• Working closely with senior engineers and multidisciplinary design teams.
• Preparing technical reports, design calculations and project documentation.
• Ensuring designs comply with relevant Irish and UK standards and regulations.
• Attending design meetings and liaising with project stakeholders.
• Supporting project delivery and maintaining high technical standards.

About You

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2-6 years expereince
• Previous experience in electrical building services design within an engineering consultancy.
• Experience working within the Irish or UK engineering market is essential.
• Good understanding of electrical building services systems, design standards and regulations.
• Competent in relevant electrical design software.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Enthusiastic, motivated and keen to develop professionally.
